What is set

What is not set
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No third-party ad network tags.
- No social media tracking pixels.
- No cross-site identity graph or fingerprinting.
Google Analytics is capable of the first and last of those when its Signals and advertising features are switched on. They are switched off here, both in the property and in the tag itself, which is what makes the list above accurate rather than aspirational. Skimlinks is an affiliate network rather than an ad network: it exists to attribute a purchase to the site that referred it, not to profile you or select advertising.
If we ever introduce display advertising, this page and the privacy policy will be updated before the first ad is served, and a consent mechanism will be added.
Partner redirects
When you click through to a lender we partner with, the link passes through a redirect on our own domain so we can count the click. The redirect carries no personal information about you - we do not have any. Once you land on the lender’s site, their cookies and their policy apply.
Turning it off
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies. Blocking ours will not break the site - none of the content, and none of the calculators, depend on them. We also honour the Global Privacy Control signal automatically: if your browser sends GPC, or the older Do Not Track header, the analytics tag is never loaded at all, so no cookie is set and no request reaches Google.
