Merchant cash advance

The purchase of a business's future receivables at a discount, repaid from daily or weekly receipts.

Legally a purchase rather than a loan, which places it outside most usury caps and lending licence regimes.

Priced with a factor rate. APR equivalents commonly range from the high double digits into the hundreds.
