Commercial Finance Disclosure Law

State laws requiring standardised cost disclosures on commercial financing below a threshold.

New York's applies to commercial financing of $2.5 million or less and requires providers to disclose figures including an estimated APR and total repayment before extending a specific offer. California, Utah, Virginia and others have their own versions.

Where you are entitled to one of these disclosures, it is the fastest way to see what an offer actually costs.
