Seller's discretionary earnings - net profit plus owner compensation and discretionary expenses.
The standard earnings measure for owner-operated businesses under roughly $5 million in value, and the basis for most small business valuation multiples.
Differs from EBITDA chiefly by adding back a single owner's full compensation.
